Cystic fibrosis is usually diagnosed at an early age. Even if the symptoms are not all equal, some of the most common symptoms of a baby with cystic fibrosis:

A blocked small intestine at birth, which prevents the child, pass the first stool.
Very salty sweat and skin.
Diarrhea.
Not growing or gaining weight, like other children.
Respiratory diseases, lung infections, a cough that will not disappear, and dyspnea.
Other symptoms may develop in childhood, such as:

Clubbing (rounding and flattening) of the fingers.
Rectal prolapse (when more than one part of the rectum) through the anus.
Growths (polyps) in the nose or sinuses.

I had a best friend when I was little, he had cystic fibrosis. As I recall it was a little girl. Much smaller than the rest of us. She could not eat much at times and in general would return immediately after eating. She had difficulty breathing. She died when we were only 5 / o. It was a severe case of it.
In general, you can doa genetic test to see if your child has done. You can do a test with his father because he is a genetic condition that has both parents carry the gene for the child to the disease.
I pray that your son is available and is a healthy child. I wish him good luck!
